Managing Staff for Success

Summary

Course summary information

The Managing Staff for Success course at CTS College will equip participants with the tools and competencies to manage employee performance in a way that directly supports business outcomes. Given the volatility and uncertainty in today’s marketplace, where businesses must constantly adapt to survive and grow, aligning staff performance with organisational objectives has become more essential than ever. The changed macro environment has pushed organisations to adopt a results-based management approach - focusing on outcomes rather than just processes. This course enables leaders to implement a value delivery system where employees are effectively resourced, trained, and managed to achieve both their professional goals and the broader goals of the organisation. The only way to achieve this alignment is through the Results-Based Management (RBM) approach and the use of the Results Chain framework, which integrates what employees do and how they do it into a cohesive strategy that drives organisational performance. Aimed at line managers, supervisors, CEOs and small business owners, this course helps build high-performing teams that are anticipatory, proactive and fully engaged in delivering the business’s value proposition. Participants will walk away with practical strategies to create a culture of accountability and results that is agile, resilient and aligned with long-term success.
